Cooker Cleaning is a job most of us put off and find an excuse not to do, but with a little preparation and not so hard work depending on how dirty your cooker is, shouldn’t take you more than an hour to complete.
Prevention like with most things is the best advice, so try to clean up spills and little accidents as they happen, and regular cleaning will make the job alot easier.
To do the job you will need rubber gloves to protect you from any cooker cleaner that you use, a sponge and some cleaning cloths, also a toothbrush will come in handy for the hard to reach areas.
Using the domestic cooker cleaning products, instructions will vary so follow the instructions given with the product of your choice.
Wear your rubber gloves to protect you from the chemicals and open a window for ventilation, remove the oven shelves and soak them in hot soapy water, also remove the cooker control knobs and soak them in soapy water aswell.
Read the instructions on your oven cleaner apply and leave for the recommended time, wipe the cleaner off with a damp sponge rinse then dry with a soft cloth.
