Description
A vacuum filter collects dust and grit over time, and once it’s clogged, suction drops, and the air coming back out of the machine gets dirtier. A blocked filter also makes the motor work harder, shortening the vacuum’s lifespan. Changing the filters when they start to look grey and matted keeps suction where it should be and takes that strain off the motor.
This is a compatible Type 90 filter set for Vax upright vacuums, a cheaper alternative to the genuine Vax filters that does the same job. It covers both filters the machine uses:
- 1 x pre-motor filter
- 1 x post-motor filter
Both trap fine dust and pollen, so less of it gets pushed back into the room. Worth knowing if anyone in the house has allergies. The filters use a cartridge design, so they lift out and drop back in with no tools and no mess.
