Who We Are

DP Domestic Spares is run by John, a self-employed domestic appliance engineer with 30 years of hands-on repair experience. Based in Chesterfield, we supply spare parts for washing machines, tumble dryers, cookers, dishwashers, vacuum cleaners and more to customers across the UK.

The business was built on the repair side first. Before selling parts online, John was diagnosing and fixing appliances in people’s homes across Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire and South Yorkshire. That background shapes everything about how the parts side of the business operates.

Why We Only Sell Parts We Trust

The parts we sell are the same parts we use in our own repairs. That is not a marketing line, it is how we decide what to stock. If a part does not perform reliably in a repair, we do not sell it. We would rather be honest with a customer about whether a repair is worth doing than sell them a part that will not last.

We stock a mix of genuine manufacturer parts and high-quality compatible alternatives. When we supply a compatible part, it is because we have confidence in its performance, having used it ourselves. We do not sell inferior parts to compete on price.

Our Repair and Parts Service

We offer domestic appliance repairs across Chesterfield and the surrounding areas of Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire and South Yorkshire, covering most makes and models of washing machines, tumble dryers, cookers, dishwashers, and vacuum cleaners.

For parts, we aim to dispatch stocked items within 3 working days. Items that need to be ordered in are usually with you within 4 to 5 working days. If we cannot meet those timescales, we will tell you upfront and give you the option to cancel.
